Definition

A paper corner protector is a rigid multi-ply kraft profile fitted to the edge of a carton or pallet load, spreading strapping pressure and preventing the band from cutting into the cargo.

Which profile should I use?

L profiles suit square carton corners and are the most common. U profiles wrap a panel edge from both sides. V profiles suit angled edges. Round profiles follow curved surfaces such as coils and drums.

Do corner protectors replace strapping?

No — they work with it. The protector spreads the band tension across the edge so the strap holds the load together without cutting into the cartons.

How long should they be?

For pallet stabilising, the usual approach is full stack height so the protector holds the whole column. For carton reinforcement, length is matched to the edge being protected.

Can you print our logo on them?

Yes, printing and handling marks are available. Send your artwork and we will confirm what is achievable on the kraft surface.

Are they recyclable?

Paper-based and potentially recyclable where accepted by local recycling facilities.

Can they replace timber edge blocks?

Paper profiles can provide a lightweight alternative to timber edge protection for suitable loads. Send your load weight and stacking height so the profile and grade can be confirmed for your application.
